Arousa Island

"Discover a Paradise" . Located in the heart of the "ría" of the same name. Links to the mainland by a bridge of nearly two miles long (one of the longest in Spain). The European Union has declared it Natural Reserve with its 36 kilometers of coastline, of which eleven are beach with fine white sand. The main attractions are: Punta Faro Cabalo, Areoso Islet (near the island of Arosa) and the Natural Park Carreirón , classified as a special protection area for birds by the populations heron, among others, who live on the island. The most important port is the port and docks of Xufre, Campo and Cabodeiro. The highest point of the island is the Mirador O Con do Forno from where you can see the town and its tourism and trade, and the beauty of the area.
